I wove several shawls this summer for my show, Shades of Black and White, using 100% Jacob wool. I sort the spotted Jacob fleeces into white and black. What is left becomes gray. Valley Oak Wool Mill in Woodland and Mendocino Wool Mill in Ukiah spun the wool for these pieces (except for a couple that use handspun yarn).

The Jacob wool is warm and cuddly and the woven patterns are striking in natural white and gray or black.
